BlackBerry Australia has thrown down the gauntlet to other smartphone manufacturers with the announcement of its Z10 smartphone ‘Trade In’ programme.

The programme allows customers to trade in any old mobile phone for a minimum of $100, whether it is a BlackBerry smartphone or not, and upgrade to the brand new 4G-enabled BlackBerry Z10.

Up until August 31st, 2013, customers who buy a 4G-enabled BlackBerry Z10 smartphone from qualified retailers in Australia will be eligible to trade in their old mobile phone for the aforementioned $100. On top of this, customers will be rewarded with up to a total of $350 with the trade in of their previous device, depending on its age and condition.

The BlackBerry Trade In Programme is available to individual customers as well as small and medium businesses with fleets of up to 200 devices.

The offer is available for a 4G-enabled BlackBerry Z10 smartphone purchase made at participating retailers including Telstra, Optus, Harvey Norman, JB HI-FI and Fonezone (online or in store).
