A Pre-release version of the BlackBerry 10.2 was leaked online and gives some hints on what the Canadian smartphone maker has in store for the latest generation of its Blackberry platform.

The new firmware for BlackBerry now features actionable notifications which let users quickly respond to emails and messages straight from the pull down notification area. There’s also the addition of standard Unicode emojis, multiple alarms, reminders and level 1 notifications.

BlackBerry 10.2 will also reportedly have support for Wi-Fi Direct access which allows users to share content via Wi-Fi without the use of router. There’s no information yet on when the update will roll out or which devices are bound to get it but it’s a safe bet that both the Z10 and Q10 will get it before the end of the year.
