BenQ recently unveiled its latest Gaming monitor for the Australian market – the XL2720T.

The XL2720T comes equipped with a 120Hz 1-ms response time and an intuitively low-ultra 0.002-fram input lag that synchronises action without latency from mouse motion. It also uses LED backlighting that improves colour and helps in lower power consumption.

This gaming monitor has a 12million:1 contrast ratio for the best and most optimal picture quality for gamers. There are also two variations of FPS (First Person Shooter) mode that gives gamers the flexibility need in playing different titles. FPS1 Mode configures and optimises the display for Counter-Strike 1.6 while the FPS2 mode is for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as recommended by BenQ.

These specialised preset modes offer optimal brightness, contrast, sharpness and colour tint which provide gamers the advantage of being able to spot and track their opponent’s every move.

On top of it all, the XL2720T also features BenQ’s Black eQualizer which adjusts the screen’s brightness without over-exposing the light levels, therefore revealing critical combat details with improved visibility in darkened scenes. The monitor is also available in different screen sizes from 17 inches to 27-inches, which all come equipped with Smart Scaling feature that gives players the ability to scale the screen on-the-fly to virtually any custom size, without impacting controller sensitivity.

The XL2720T features a Game Mode Loader which stores gaming presets used pro gamers and are available for various game titles including Battlefield 3, Call of Duty, Diablo 3 and Doat 2. In terms of connectivity with other devices, the XL2720T packs two HDMI ports and us designed to work with other devices including the PS3, XBOX, Blu-ray players, PCs and cameras.

Lastly, the BenQ XL2720T is also certified as NVIDIA 3D Vision ready and provides gamers with Full HD 3D gaming and stereoscopic experiences. For a more vivid viewing experience, the monitor even comes with Nvidia 3D Lightboost technology for up to twice the original screen brightness

The BenQ XL2720T will be available in Australia this April for around $599.
