BenQ today unveiled its latest Home Entertainment offering – the W1500 projector which the company claims as the world’s first 5GHz Full HD Wireless projector.
The W1500 allows users to watch and listen to 2D and 3D HD video and audio from a diverse range of multimedia sources including those equipped with HDMI interface, Blu-ray and DVD Players, gaming consoles and of course smart devices. It also has short-throw projection capability, two built-in 10W speakers, and 1.6x big zoom and vertical lens shift.
However, the W1500’s most striking feature is its 5GHz wireless Full HD interface for uncompressed video streaming from any HDMI output device within a maximum range of 20 metres. This coupled with its built-in 10W speakers with SRS WOW HDTM and support for 3D viewing provides a unique and enjoyable viewing experience to users.
The W1500 also supports 3D games with the PS3. It is also Nvidia 3DTV-supported to display 3D content via PC powered by Nvidia chip. It can even turn 2D content into 3D using its 2D-to-3D conversion feature.
The BenQ W1500 is already available in Australia for RRP $2199.
