Looking to get a new Mac for the university year ahead? In addition to shaving a bit off the retail price, Apple is offering uni students a free pair of Beats Solo2 on-ear headphones when they purchase an eligible Mac with educational pricing.
Alternatively, students looking for Bluetooth headphones can instead take a AUD$259.95 discount on a pair Beats Solo2 Wireless and pay the remaining AUD$140 themselves.
The new MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, and iMac with Retina Display are all part of Apple's promotion.
Apple's educational pricing (and the free pair of Beats Solo2) is available to current university students, students accepted into university, parents buying for university students, teachers, lecturers, and "staff at all levels".
The free Beats promotion runs until March 21, but Apple says "quantity limits apply". The offer is available in-store and online.
