Australians will be able to pre-order the newly announced iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus from 5.01pm AEST on September 12. Early adopters have the option of buying directly through Apple's online store for outright purchases, or on-contract through any of Australia's major telcos.
Optus
Optus's iPhone 6s plans start at AUD$73 per month for a 16GB iPhone 6s. This includes 500MB of data, and unlimited talk and text. An AUD$86 per month plan will net customers 6GB of data instead, and a bonus 300 international minutes.
Unsurprisingly, Optus' iPhone 6s Plus plans are a little pricier. The entry level 500MB plan will set customers back AUD$79 per month, while the 6GB plan is billed at AUD$94 per month.
Jumping up to 64GB, the iPhone 6s is AUD$93 per month on Optus' 6GB plan, while the iPhone 6s Plus is AUD$100. At 128GB, the same plan is billed at AUD$101 per month and AUD$107 per month, respectively.

Telstra
Customers are looking at a minimum of AUD$87 per month for a 16GB iPhone 6s on Telstra; this includes 1GB of data, unlimited text, and AUD$550 of talk. A 7GB plan is billed at AUD$99 per month and also included unlimited talk. This is bumped to AUD$115 per month for a 64GB handset, and to AUD$125 per month for a 128GB unit.

The 16GB iPhone 6s Plus starts at AUD$95 per month on Telstra on the company's 1GB plan. With 7GB, it costs AUD$118 per month. This jumps to AUD$125 per month and AUD$135 for a 64GB and 128GB unit, respectively.

Vodafone
Vodafone's cheapest 16GB iPhone 6s plan is an AUD$79 per month offer including unlimited talk and text, and 1GB of data. Jumping to AUD$89 per month will give customers 8GB of data. A 64GB iPhone 6s on the 8GB plan is billed at AUD$95 per month, while an 128GB unit is AUD$103 per month.

Virgin will only be offering iPhone 6s pre-orders initially, but says the iPhone 6s Plus will be "coming soon".
A 16GB iPhone 6s is available on Virgin plans starting from AUD$61 per month, including AUD$300 of talk and text, and 300MB of data. Virgin's 4GB plan (including unlimited talk and text) will set customers back AUD$86 per month. This jumps to AUD$93 per month for a 64GB iPhone 6s, and to AUD$99 per month for a 128GB model.
