Australian iPhone 6 on-contract plan pricing

The iPhone 6 is officially available for pre-order, although but customers might not be having much luck. The websites of all four major Australian telcos – Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, and Virgin – all experience to be displaying technical difficulty. At the time of writing, Apple's own web store appears to be down as well.

The iPhone 6 is officially available for pre-order, although but customers might not be having much luck. The websites of all four major Australian telcos – Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, and Virgin – all experience to be displaying technical difficulty. While Apple's own store was down for approximately half an hour, iPhone 6 pre-orders are now live.

Optus has only confirmed pricing for the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 Plus will not be available for pre-order, but will be available in store on the 19th. 

On a $50 My Plan Plus, the 16GB iPhone 6 will attract a $20 per month handset fee, 64GB will attract $25 per month, and 128GB will attract $30 per month. The $50 My Plan Plus includes 600 minutes of talk, unlimited text and 1GB data.

On a $80 My Plan Plus, the 16GB iPhone 6 will attract a $2 per month handset fee, 64GB will attract $7 per month and 128GB will attract $12 per month

Telstra have confirmed pricing for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

On a $55 plan, the 16GB iPhone 6 attracts a $22 handset fee and the iPhone 6 Plus a $27. The 64GB iPhone 6 attracts a $27 handset fee and the iPhone 6 Plus a $32. The 128GB iPhone 6 attracts a $32 handset fee and the iPhone 6 Plus a $36.

A $55 plan on Telstra includes $550 of voice and MMS, unlimited text and 500 MB of data.

Vodafone have confirmed their pricing for the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 Plus will not be available for pre-order, but will be available in store on the 19th.

On Voadfone's Red $70 plan, the 16GB iPhone 6 attracts a $4 per month handset fee, the 64GB iPhone 6 attracts a $9 per month handset fee and the 128GB iPhone 6 attracts a $14 per month handset fee. 

Vodafone's $70 Red plan includes 3GB of data and "infinite" calls and text, and 300 international minutes.
