Asus Launches MeMO Pad HD 7

Asus today announced the launch of its latest 7-inch tablet featuring a capable processor and a high-definition display. The MeMO Pad HD 7 comes equipped with a quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The 7-inch screen of the tablet has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels for crisp text and images, which can be viewed up to 170-degrees thanks to the IPS technology used in its display panel.

Asus today announced the launch of its latest 7-inch tablet featuring a capable processor and a high-definition display.

The MeMO Pad HD 7 comes equipped with a quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The 7-inch screen of the tablet has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels for crisp text and images, which can be viewed up to 170-degrees thanks to the IPS technology used in its display panel.

The tablet also utilises Asus SonicMaster Audio technology, which combined with its high-definition display provides users with optimum multimedia performance. The MeMO Pad HD 7 also has 16GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB or more. On top of that MeMO Pad HD 7 owners get to have an additional 16GB of ASUS Webstorage provided free for one year.

The MeMO Pad HD 7 weighs only 302g and features two cameras – a 1.2MP at the front that can capture 720p HD video and a rear 5-megapixle camera. It also has a lithium polymer battery that can lasts up for 10 hours even with 720p video playback.

Asus has also made available a number of accessories of the MeMO Pad including an optional protective TransCover with microfiber interior. The TransCover folds into a stand to prop the tablet for watching video and typing with the on-screen keyboard.

The Asus MeMP Pad HD 7 is now available in Australia through ASUS retailers and channel resellers for a recommended AU $199.
