Apple Watch gets new colours, new straps, and a new OS
Apple kicked off this morning's iPhone 6s event with a series of short and sweet Apple Watch announcements.
Firstly, the Apple Watch Sport will be available in two new shades of series 7000 aluminium: gold, and rose gold (pictured above). The new colours allow prospective Apple Watch owners to match their wearable with their new iPhone 6s without dropping over AUD$10,000 on an Edition.
The gold and rose gold Apple Watch Sport's pricing is in line with existing models: AUD$499 for a 38mm Watch, and AUD$579 for a 42mm Watch.
In addition to new Watch bodies, Apple also introduced a number of new straps. The fluoroelastomer Sport Band is now available in 15 different colours, up from five at launch. New options include orange, red, and midnight blue. The new Sports Bands are available now, and retail for AUD$79.
