Apple Music is now available across Sonos' complete range of wireless multi-room speakers, following a public beta period that lasted just over two months. As part of the integration, Apple Music subscribers are able to access the entire Apple Music catalogue, Beats 1, radio stations, and "for you" through the Sonos controller app.
Sonos speaker owners can add Apple Music to their ecosystem by following the below steps:
- Open the Sonos app
- Select "Add Music Service"
- Scroll down to Apple Music and tap it
- Login with relevant Apple ID
Apple Music joins the long list of music streaming services supported by the Sonos controller app, including Spotify, Tidal, Bandcamp, Google Play Music and Deezer. As with the vast majority of multi-room setups, Sonos requires users to choose songs within its own applications, rather than within the streaming app of choice.
The Sonos controller app is available for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.
