Grundig has introduced new docking and App ranges and will include models with rotatable displays so units can be used to play Videos, Apps or Games directly on-screen in either portrait or landscape view or users can connect their Dock via Video Out to their home TV to watch videos, YouTube clips or movies from their iPhone & iPod for a surround experience.
The new Grundig App range (available for free via iTunes) has been created to complement and add additional features and benefits to selected Grundig Dock models. Apps will allow users to turn their Apple device and Grundig Product in to a; FM radio, internet radio, dual alarm clock, weather forecaster and more. The App will be required by select models to ensure users utilise their audio product and enable them to upgrade their unit from just a Dock to an audio entertainment unit.
The first in the Docking range is the App-Driven alarm clock radio with dock for iPhone (IPD02). It includes the launch of the first Grundig iPhone App. The free Grundig G1 App will enable users to utilise the in-built FM Radio and the Dual Alarm Clock function and upgrade this speaker into an FM Alarm Clock Radio. This amazing compact Dock will retail for just $79.95 and is sure to be a hit with all iPhone users.
