Foxtel has announced its Foxtel Go app is now available across a range of new devices including select Samsung Android tablets and smartphones – including the Galaxy SIII smartphone, and Note II – as well as PC and Mac computers.

Foxtel has announced its Foxtel Go app is now available across a range of new devices including select Samsung Android tablets and smartphones – including the Galaxy SIII smartphone, and Note II – as well as PC and Mac computers. Foxtel has also upped the number of devices that can be registered to Foxtel Go from two to three.
Foxtel Go is available to subscribing customers and brings up to 59 live channels and over 50 channels for on demand catch up viewing. Customers download the Foxtel Go app from the Foxtel website, Samsung Apps or the App Store, then enter their Foxtel login and start watching mobile entertainment.
Foxtel Play customers will also be enabled to receive Foxtel Go included with their subscription. The launch isn’t long off for those who have been looking forward to it and subscribers will be able to view their entitled channels based on the channels they subscribe to on the Foxtel Play service.
Specifications
Foxtel Go requires: a Samsung GALAXY SIII, Samsung GALAXY Note II or Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 running Android 4.1 operating system (Jelly Bean) or higher; or, a PC running Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer 8 or higher; or, Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6. Mac OS X Lion 10.7 with Safari version 5; or, an iPad, iPad mini, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 running iOS 5.0 or higher. Also available on iPod Touch 5th Generation. A Foxtel residential cable or satellite subscription with a STU and a Foxtel online account linked to a subscription account are required.
Customers will see channels and content from the channels they subscribe to only. Not all channels / content available on all devices. Three devices can be registered to Foxtel Go and two devices can be running Foxtel Go at the same time linked to the one account. The Foxtel Go App includes Remote Record directly to the iQ or MyStar. Foxtel Go is available over 3G/4G networks as well as WiFi. Recommended Internet speeds apply. Internet connection required.
