American computer processor manufacturer AMD unveiled the cornerstone of tis cloud gaming platform – the Radeon Sky Graphics at this year’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, California.

American computer processor manufacturer AMD unveiled the cornerstone of tis cloud gaming platform – the Radeon Sky Graphics at this year’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, California.

According to the company’s press release statement, AMD realises the significant opportunity that lies with real-time gaming through the cloud and that the company is working hard alongside industry leaders to improve both the hardware and software components of their products.

AMD is said to be working closely with companies such as CiiNow, G-Cluster, Otoy and Ubitus to ensure that the company will be able to deliver the best AMD Radeon gaming experiences to the cloud. To be specific, the partnership with these companies has allowed AMD to develop a flexible cloud gaming technology that is designed as a solution that will enable game developers and service providers deliver content to gamers whether it’s through PCs, tablets, Smart TVs or mobile devices.

Moreover, the Radeon Sky Graphics is said to be built from the ground up on the AMD Graphics Core Next Architecture that the company hopes to be the new industry standard when it comes to cloud gaming. The Radeon Sky Graphics is powered by the company’s AMD RapidFire technology that enables highly efficient and responsive game streaming.
