Alienware Outs New Set Of Gaming Laptops

Alienware, the gaming computer subsidiary of Dell recently introduced its latest gaming laptops in Los Angeles at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo also known as E3.

Alienware, the gaming computer subsidiary of Dell recently introduced its latest gaming laptops in Los Angeles at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo also known as E3.

The new laptops include the three Alienware models that are meant for different types of gamers from enthusiast gamers to the hard-core ones. All three laptops features a new, iconic and angular design that takes cues from jet engines and stealth bombers. All three laptops are durable thanks to its anodized aluminium and magnesium alloy body. The keyboard is protected by a reinforced plate to ensure a solid tying experience.

Based on customer feedback, the new Alienware 14 now features an anti-glare LCD panel with wide viewing angles for reflection-free gaming in nearly any lighting condition. For 3D gamers, the Alienware 17 has an optional 3D panel for an immersive visual experience, while the Alienware 18 will feature a Full HD display with PLS wide viewing-angle technology.

The laptops also feature a number of components that when combined create a superb PC gaming experience. These include the latest generation of Intel Core i7 processors, Nvidia GeForce 700 series graphics, DDR3L memory that provides exceptional bandwidth with lower voltage requirements which is designed for increase battery life.

The laptops also now provide support for up to three storage drives on the Alienware 14, and up to four storage drives on the remaining two models.  For the first time ever, Alienware will also add in Nvidia’s SLI dual graphics technology as standard as well as support for an overclocked CPU with a maximum speed of 4.3GHz for the 18-inch variant. Moreover, all three laptops will feature Ethernet technology by Qualcomm’s networks, Klipsch speaker and Dolby Home Theatre v4 audio.

Alienware has also updated its Command Centre software which now provides intuitive, user-friendly access to Alienware-exclusive applications and controls in one hub. Command Centre includes the exclusive AlienFx lighting control system which lets users to create their own custom lighting themes and special effects.

The new laptops now have up to 20 colours to choose from across 10 different lighting zones, which when summed up will total to over 10 trillion lighting combinations. Moreover, Alienware has worked closely with game developers to incorporate these lighting effects in over 60 game titles, including cross-platform titles like Anomaly2, SMITE and Neverwinter to name a few, for an immersive experience.

The company also announced last week, an update to its X51 gaming desktop which now offers more performance with improved technology including new Intel 4th generation Core i5 and i7 processors, Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 and 2TB of storage.
