Acer Demos Its New Tablet And Chromebook Ahead Of Launch


On the other hand, Acer also demoed its new Iconia Tab A1. The tablet boasts a a 7.9-inch 720p display (a pixel density of approximately 162ppi), a 1.6GHz dual-core intel chip, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card), a 5MP camera at the back, and a 2MPcamera at the front.

In terms of connectivity, the Iconia A1 tablet comes equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, and a microUSB port.

Both models will be available in Australia starting next week, with the Chromebook C720P starting at approximately AU$331 while the Acer Iconia A1-830 will retail for around AU$249.
