A first look at Cortana in Windows 10

Tech publication WinBeta has obtained access to an unreleased Windows 10 build featuring the rumoured addition of Cortana, Microsoft's digital assistant. While the user interface isn't final Cortana on Windows 10 shares much of the same functionality as the application does on Windows Phone 8.1 Users will be able to add a reminder, add a calendar appointment, check the weather, make a call  and launch an app.

Microsoft is expected to discuss the more consumer facing features of Windows 10, such as Cortana, at an event in late January.
