7.2 Channel AV Receiver range

Denon Electronics has released two new 7.2 channel A/V receivers, the AVR-2311 and AVR-3311 that can expand any high-end home theatre into whole-home entertainment suite.

Both receivers feature HDMI 1.4a to provide 3D pass-through capability, Audio Return Channel, Deep Color, x.v.Color, Auto Lip Sync and HDMI control functions.

A one-cable connection to the television is now possible with the Audio Return Channel capability that brings the TV’s audio back to the receiver, combined with the receivers’ ability to upscale any video source to 1080p and output it over HDMI.

The receivers also feature full colour on-screen displays that are output via the same HDMI cable so users are able to control every aspect of their system from the comfort of the lounge.

The AVR-2311 has one HDMI output, while the AVR-3311 has two HDMI outputs, which can be selected from the remote control.

These receivers are designed to be more than just home theatre components – they are equipped with a multitude of features that allow them to be the heart of a whole-home entertainment system.

iPod and iPhone users are well catered for with a USB input that allows a direct digital input.

The iPod or iPhone can be played in other zones using the receiver’s remote control, further enhancing the multi-room capabilities of these receivers..

The AVR-2311 and AVR-3311 are available now with RRPs of $1,599 (AVR-2311) and $1,999 (AVR-3311). Both units are available in Black or a Silver finish.
