How does the use of a full array backlight with thousands of miniature LEDs in the C845 TV improve dimming precision and picture quality in comparison to traditional edge-lit backlights, and what benefits does this technology offer to viewers?

The answer is too long for this comment section so read our guide https://cybershack.com.au/guides/confused-about-tv-tech-thats-just-what-they-want/. In short Mini-LED offers far brighter, more uniform, controllable backlight compared to Edge that less bright and not uniform. Edge cannot have proper dimming zones so you get lots of blooming around moving objects. The benefit of the C845 particularly include blacker blacks (contrast – still not as good as OLED), high brightness for typical Aussie open space lounge rooms, true Dolby Vision (Edge cannot do DV), and a significantly and visibly better image. Without being a snob Edge-lit is the bottom of the ladder, followed by back-lit, direct lit, FALD (full array backlit) and the top is OLED.
