Roborock has entered a brand new product category at IFA 2026, revealing its first robotic pool cleaner, the Roborock RockAqua P1.
As the first entry in the RockAqua series, it’s built to clean pool floors, walls, waterlines, and shallow platforms down to just 15 centimetres. It’s designed for pools that aren’t simple rectangles, but popular irregular shapes too.
The RockAqua P1’s adaptive cleaning path and vision-based obstacle avoidance allow it to identify and avoid drain covers and steps while maximising its coverage to reduce missed spots. Its sensor-based cleaning prioritises dirty areas to ensure a better clean overall.
With over 25,000 LPH of suction, a 4-litre debris basket, and dual layer filtration, the RockAqua P1 captures everything from fine debris to leaves, helping reduce the amount of waste reaching your built-in pool filter.
Its total runtime is rated at 3.5 hours for floor cleaning. Intelligent motor adjustments helps to manage energy usage based on pool conditions and debris load, maximising the amount of time it runs through the pool.
Once it’s finished the clean, the RockAqua P1 tries to be as easy to retrieve as possible. It surfaces at the waterline and waits to be collected, and a quick water release drains it as the robot is lifted out, cutting down on dead weight.
The Roborock RockAqua P1 launches first in Australia and New Zealand from January 2027. Exact dates and pricing are yet to be confirmed.
