The AI Agents

Smart Master’s AI Agent is a voice-enabled system that supports 140 languages with an 8-metre recognition range and fast response time. The agent is built into Midea’s air conditioner, refrigerator, and built-in oven, and can even be reached through in-car systems and other assistants.

The system features four dedicated agents for different jobs. Comfort Agent turns on air conditioning, humidity control, and laundry with a single command. Health Agent is designed to check the fridge and suggest meals, coordinating the appliances needed to cook them. Efficiency Agent manages energy usage throughout the day. Service Agent handles maintenance, fault guidance, and post-sales support.

Midea Robot

Midea Robot brought its “Eagles” system to IFA, pairing one AI with four multimodal models. Its demonstrations included robots handling tableware and dish baskets, preparing and delivering popcorn, and a bipedal robot that waved and danced for the crowd.

AI Ecomaster

AI Ecomaster is a system designed to link appliances into a managed household energy network, learning routines and switching between solar and stored power as grid prices shift.

The range built into this ecosystem includes the R290 Series cooling range with a more efficient refrigerant, the Visionary Series refrigerators with hands-free lighting, the InfiniteFit hobs with flexible cookware placement, the PizzaPro oven with a massive 81-litre cavity, and the Tri-GreenApex laundry system that claims to use around 50 percent less energy than Europe’s top efficiency rating.
