LG IFA 2026: New announcements
Kitchen
LG’s new LG Signature Refrigerator adds LLM-based conversational AI, allowing users to ask questions and get guidance on storing ingredients. Its 6.8-inch LCD display allows you to customise fridge settings, while the onboard AI Fresh feature tracks your typical usage and adjusts settings automatically to suit when you tend to open the fridge.
The LG Fit & Max French-Door Refrigerator trades voice-based AI for a space-saving Zero Clearance design that’s designed to sit flush with cabinetry. It also features the 6.8-inch screen plus a Full Convert drawer that can be set to either fridge or freezer mode. Dual FRESHConverter+ compartments allow for independent temperature settings.
LG’s LG Fit & Max Dishwasher features a seamless built-in design and a 1-hour wash and dry cycle for more convenient washing. Its QuadWash Pro design produces microbubbles that help cut through stuck-on residue, while Hybrid Air Dry improves circulation in the chamber to speed up drying. AI SenseClean reads soil levels with a sensor that adjusts temperature, cycle time, and detergent use for the most efficient wash.
The LG Signature Downdraft Hood provides a discreet way to extract smoke and odours from the kitchen directly into the countertop surface. It’s great for kitchen islands and open plan areas where a bulky rangehood would look out of place.
Laundry
The LG Fit & Max Washer and Dryer are set to be the company’s most efficient models yet, using up to 70 percent less energy than Europe’s minimum A-grade standard. Using LG Direct Drive Motor and Dual Inverter Heat Pump technology, they provide dependable, reliable performance. AI Wash and AI Dry cycles automatically detect fabric types and load to adjust cycles automatically.
For homes looking for an all-in-one unit, the new LG WashTower is a 25-inch model that sits between the brand’s other models. Designed for tighter floorplans, it adds flexibility to laundry fit-outs.
Personal Care
LG’s first hair dryer, the LG AirDew delivers fast drying performance and protects hair from heat damage. Using patented technology, it delivers high-velocity airflow and provides optimal temperature control to help with styling. Plus, its compact, lightweight body and magnetic attachments make it easy to use without tiring.
