YouTube is undeniably one of the most profitable projects of Google with over a billion unique user visits each month and more than a million advertisers using Google ad platforms. So there’s definitely a lot at stake for the search giant when certain changes are applied to the website.
Recently, the video platform announced it will be bringing new features into the site and releasing a dedicated app for content creators called “Creator Preview”. The new features of Creator Preview are said to have been inspired by feedback of channel owners and as such will be directed towards the welfare of content creators.
With Creator Preview, video makers will be able manage their channels using a dedicated mobile app, increase monetization through ad revenue and even get crowd-funding for their projects. Channel managers will also get more support from YouTube in terms of learnings and trainings and crowd-funded localisation of content.
