HTC’s EVO 3D smartphone claims to take mobile multimedia experience to a whole new dimension.  It allows consumers to capture and view in 3D,offering a glasses-free 3D experience.  This device will be available on multiple carrier networks from mid -September onwards, with pricing and plans to be announced in coming weeks.  

It comes with a 4.3 inch qHD screen with a 3D display – allowing 3D content (images and videos) to be played and watched without the use of glasses. With its dual 5MP cameras and intuitive camera button, making 3D movies and taking 3D photographs couldn’t be easier.

The HTC EVO 3D comes pre-loaded with a 3D movie and 3D games. Further content can be purchased from HTC Watch, HTC’s video streaming service when it becomes available in Australia later in 2011.

With integrated 3D HD (720p) video capture and the latest version of the acclaimed HTC Sense experience, HTC EVO 3D makes it possible to become part of the action. This device also helps customers post high-quality videos to YouTube or Facebook, or share moments in real time, live over the Internet.

Its integrated DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) capability makes it easy to share stored music, pictures and user-generated HD video wirelessly with other DLNA-certified home electronics, including HDTVs, monitors, digital cameras, printers and more. Using an HDMI cable makes it possible to also share user-created 3D video content via a 3D TV.

Beyond the display, other innovations include a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor among others – making the HTC EVO 3D the most advanced phone to be introduced by HTC to date.
