YouTube has added another feather to its cap this week – signing old school movie production house Metro Goldwyn Mayer to a deal whereby YouTube will host fulllength TV shows and films from the MGM archives.

Movies currently slated to screen include action flicks like Bulletproof Monk and The Magnificent Seven and clips fromcult faves such as Legally Blonde. These will be free to watch, with ads running alongside the video.

MGM is not he first studio to forge a YouTube alliance, last month CBS signed on the dotted line to allow You Tube to stream TV shows such as Star Trek and Beverley Hills 902010.

YouTube in October forged a similar partnership with CBS to run full-length archived shows, including Star Trek, Young and the Restless and Beverly Hills 90210.
