Xbox One First Play

The Xbox One hands on trial I got recently showed some real promise and some great improvements on the current generation of consoles from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. The Xbox One hands on trial I got recently showed some real promise and some great improvements on the current generation of consoles from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. While it’s a fact that Sony has taken the win in capability and the technical specifications of their new hardware, the crown for more fun to play with goes to Microsoft for now.

The new controller feels a little bulky in hand and having played on the PS4 and the Xbox One versions the PS4 feels more natural to me. Controllers can be a very subjective thing though and each player will have their own preference to be sure. The real improvement on the Xbox One is the Kinect. I have been a huge critic of the Kinect in the past, games like Fable the Journey certainly did nothing to help. In the past the low light and sunlight conditions would often render the player invisible.
