Xbox 360 price drops

Now there’s no reason not to own a video game system… unless you’re a turtle or some other small money-less creature.

Microsoft Australia have today gone and done something a little unexpected with the announcement that their Xbox 360 models are all dropping in price.

It works like this:

• Xbox 360 Arcade drops from an RRP of $349 to the new price of $299
• Xbox 360 with the hard drive (technically the “Pro” model) drops from $499 to the hot price of $399
• And the Xbox 360 Elite clad all in black falls from $649 one hundred bucks less to the new price of $549

Which makes the Xbox 360 cheaper than both the Nintendo Wii and the Sony PlayStation 3 for sure… and incredibly hard to resist at Christmas.
