UDraw Expected February

Game publisher, THQ has announced that uDraw Game Tablet is scheduled to reach Australian shores on February 24th.

The uDraw GameTablet will come bundled with uDraw Studio. Users will also be able to get  Pictionary and Dood’s Big AdventureTM exclusively on uDraw

The unit is said toturn a television – via a Wii console –  into a virtual art studio, making it possible for everyone, no matter what age or gender, to unleash the artist within. The uDraw GameTablet allows people to explore their artistic side, and even save their creations to share with friends utilising the Wii’s SDcard capability.

The uDraw GameTablet uses a new hardware device that provides a new and way for kids and families to play on Wii.  The device is a small white handheld tablet with a 4-inch x 6-inch drawing space and detachable, pressure-sensitive stylus designed to offer subtle control and precision than available on the traditional Wii Remote, claims the manufacturer.

The Wii Remote docks within the uDraw GameTablet, allowing the device to draw power directly from the Wii Remote. A storage area hides the Wii Remote wrist strap and stylus when not in use. Theunit also features tilt-and-roll movement options, allowing players to interact and control in-game characters by moving and directing them through game levels.

SD-card support enables players to save and print their artwork and other uDraw creations.
