All Interactive Entertainment today confirms that the sequel No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle has now been released in Australia and New Zealand, for the Nintendo Wii.

To coincide with the worldwide launch, there have been a multitude of assets created inspired by the game. This includes an exclusive lingerie line designed by Bedtime Flirt, a ‘Bizzore Jerry 5’ t-shirt as worn by Travis Touchdown produced for customers in Australia, along with launch videos highlighting weapons, ladies, minigames and clothing worn in the game.

Travis Touchdown, the pro-wrestling-obsessed assassin, returns three years after he first became the top assassin in the United Assassins Association (UAA) and walked away.

Fighting to avenge the brutal murder of his best friend, Travis must rise through the ranks of an 51 assassins to make it the top of the UAA league table.

But it won’t be easy as there are more deadly bosses than ever before, a total of six different weapons in the game – including a highly covetable dual-beam katana – along with 13 unique wrestling moves to master as well as exhilarating Tiger metamorphosis. To further expand gameplay, there are two new playable characters, as well as 8-bit arcade-style addictive mini games that crop up Travis’s side jobs.
