TiVo is offering a new free service that allows users to record remotely
TiVo Genie is a service that gives customers the ability to set TV recordings from internet-connected devices such as a PC/Mac computer, iPhone, iPod touch, BlackBerry or mobile phone.
TiVo users on the beach or on an overseas holiday are now able to remotely schedule Season Pass recordings and record their favourite TV shows, news or sporting events like the Australian Open Tennis on Seven.
Customers log in to their TiVo account at www.mytivo.com.au from their computer to access online scheduling or for mobile access go to http://m.mytivo.com.au on their BlackBerry, iPhone or mobile phone.
A web-based service, TiVo Genie provides immediate access and command of recordings across a seven-day TV guide sending the request directly to the TiVo located in the user’s home. This new free service is available to all TiVo customers: both existing and new.
