Today, Telstra introduced a 24 hour streaming news service for their Next G Mobile customers.

Bigpond Live TV News will stream hourly news bulletins across entertainment, sports, finance, technology and politics – the segments will be drawn from Sky News.

Users can subscribe to the news service for $4.95 per month or they can access the channel for $1.95 per day.
