Samsung has opted for the newsest Windows mobile operating system for its latest mobile handset.
Samsung has launched the Samsung Omniapro, available only on Telstra’s Next G Network, and it will be running the new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.
As part of Windows Mobile 6.5, Mobile Office means you can edit and share a variety of Microsoft Office documents with colleagues (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
It has an in-built GPS function, which seems to be coming standard in quite a few mobile handsets coming out in 2010.
The Samsung Omniapro also has many multimedia features, including a 3.2 Megapixel camera with smile shot, music player, FM radio and stereo Bluetooth support, meaning you can listen to sounds via headphones or speakers. Additional mobile content is also available with BigPond TV, Mobile Foxtel and access to the BigPond Mobile Portal.
