Samsung keeps it wavy with new curved monitor range

Samsung loves curves. Whether it's in TVs, smartphones, sound bars, or monitors, the electronics giant has demonstrated a penchant anfractuous technology, and the obsession is far from over. Five new Samsung curved monitors are now available locally, in sizes ranging from 22-inch to 32-inch.

Samsung's new monitors are all cut from a similar cloth, with size and curvature acting as key differentiators. All five displays run at 1080p, have a 5ms response time, 60Hz refresh rate, and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, which is said to be three times higher than common competing alternatives.

The CF390 series offers 21.5-inch, 23.5-inch, and 27-inch displays, with 16-degree, 17-degree, and 19-degree curvatures respectively. All three come in a glossy black finish. In terms of connectivity, they ship with HDMI and D-Sub inputs. In order of size, these go for AUD$289.95, AUD$349.95, and AUD$515.95.

The CF391 series features just one monitor, a 31.5-inch display with a 22-degree curvature. The unit has a white plastic housing, and HDMI and Display Port inputs. It retails for AUD$699.95.

The CF591 series also has just one model, boasting a 27-inch display with a curvature of 19-degrees. Samsung's kitted this one with a metallic frame, extra thin-bezels, and HDMI, DisplayPort, D-Sub, and audio inputs. It retails for AUD$549.99.
