Olive Riley of Woy Woy on the NSW Central Coast, better known as the world’s oldest blogger has passed away at the age of 108.

Since starting her blog, which she laughingly referred to as “her blob” in February last year, Olive has regaled readers all over the globe with tales from her life. The mother of three was born on October 20 1899 and has lived through the Great Depression, two World Wars and in her lifetime worked at various occupations including as an egg sorter, a barmaid and as a station cook in rural Queensland.

Olive made her final post a few weeks ago, where she complained of not being able to “shake off a bad cough”.

You can check out Olive’s blog at http://www.allaboutolive.com.au or http://worldsoldestblogger.blogspot.com.

Our condolences go to Olive’s family and friends.
