PSP To Get GTA: Chinatown Wars

Rockstar has announced that it will be releasing the Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for Sony’s PSP

It what can be seen by some as a case of catch-up, the PSP console will be getting Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars by September, almost six months after it was released on the rival Nintendo DSi console. To rub salt into the wound of Sony Computer Entertainment, the game has an average review score of over 93 percent from gaming websites.

The good news, according to Rockstar Games, is that the game has been specifically built for the PSP platform with upscaled widescreen graphics, enhanced lighting and animation and including all new story missions.

It will be available as both a digital download (via PlayStationNetwork) and at retail.
Rockstar has also announced the Chinatown Wars Fortune Cookie application for Facebook, which allows users to:

  • Send a friend a fortune from our “Random Fortune” selection. Over 50 fortunes to choose from. Keep hitting “Random Fortune” til users find one they want to send.
  • Customise their own personal fortune to send a friend – they can write an original fortune up to 65 characters long.

Plus, each fortune automatically comes with a bonus “Learn Chinese” message which the recipient can click to see.
