Popular third-person shooter game gets downloadable PS3 upgrade
Resident Evil: Director’s Cut is said being released by Capcom for the PlayStation network next week, according to reports out of the US.
For US residents, the new content will set them back US$9.99, which is not a lot of dosh, which leads us to believe that there may not be that much new in terms of weaponry, or cool new enemies to annihilate.
We’re pretty sure those who love the original Resident Evil won’t mind, but Capcom have to remember, in order for a franchise to survive, they need to reinvent themselves. That aside, this could all be conjecture on our part, and it might be the next Wii Fit of shooter games.
