Pocket Projector soon found in phones

You might have seen the Aiptek Pocket Projector featured on CyberShack shortly before Christmas: that’s nothing compared with what we’re looking at here.

You might have seen the Aiptek Pocket Projector featured on CyberShack shortly before Christmas. Remember how cool that concept was? A projector in your pocket?

That’s nothing.

A new company called Logic Wireless is over at CES showing off a mobile phone with the pocket projector built right into the top.

The Logic Bolt is a quad-band GSM phone with a 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, talk time of 2-3 hours, and can project an image from the top of the phone to a size of between 90cm and 1.6 meters. The projector takes a VGA signal from other devices and it’s said to run Windows Mobile when it gets released.

So while the Aiptek Pocket Projector might set you back half a grand and be an extra device to carry around, this little phone will do it one step better if it comes out later this year.
