Optus Get Samsung Galaxy Exclusive
Samsung has announced that its new Galaxy S smartphone in Australia will be available exclusively through Optus from 1st July for $0 upfront on the $59 ‘yes’ Social plan. From August, Samsung’s new smartphone will be available through all major mobile phone carriers.

Featuring Samsung’s bright four inch Super AMOLED screen and a 1GHz application processor, the Galaxy S offers TouchWiz 3.0 user-interface (UI) that will provide instant access to applications and services and SWYPE text input allows for intuitive and fast texting and emailing.
In addition, Samsung’s Social Hub service will facilitate constant, easy and integrated personal calendar, contacts and social networking, across sites including Facebook and Twitter. The Samsung Galaxy S eReading feature provides access to millions of content sources at your fingertips, including books, magazines and newspapers on the move. Finally, more than 50,000 applications from the Android Market will be available.
