Odd Product Placement: Mario Kart meets Mercedes
In a somewhat strange bit of cross-promotion, gamers will be able to download three free Mercedes-Benz cars for use in Mario Kart 8 as part of the game's latest update. The three cars added are the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the 300 SL Roadster from the 1950s and the legendary Silver Arrow of the 1930s.

In a somewhat strange bit of cross-promotion, gamers will be able to download three free Mercedes-Benz cars for use in Mario Kart 8 as part of the game's latest update. The three cars added are the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the 300 SL Roadster from the 1950s and the legendary Silver Arrow of the 1930s.
The Mario Kart 8 software update will also give drivers the option to display the course map on the TV screen during races, provide more detailed race statistics and improve the stability of online play. This free update will be made available on August 27.
