Nintendo Announces Two New Games for Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo announced today that there will be two new games for the company’s portable gaming console – the Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo announced today that there will be two new games for the company’s portable gaming console – the Nintendo 3DS.

The two new games include a title from the Legend of Zelda franchise entitled The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the past. The game which was first launched for the Super NES in 1992 will be revamped to make use of the 3D abilities of the Nintendo 3DS. The game allows link to become a drawing and move within walls.

A 3D video of the new game is now available in the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS. The game on the other hand is scheduled for release in Australia and New Zealand towards the end of the year.

The other game that the company announced today is Yoshi’s Island game. This is the third instalment in the franchise and features Yoshi and Baby Mario doing flutter jumps, ground pounds and egg throws plus a host of new actions that use the unique features of the Nintendo 3DS. Details about the game including its launched date will be announced in the future.

Nintendo is also brining into the spotlight a number of its games in keeping with the Year of Luigi theme. These include Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros., Mario Golf: World Tour, a new instalment in the Mario Party series and the New Super Luigi U for the Wii U.
