  • DS gaming line up announced
  • Console due at end of March
  • Games include Ridge Racer, Sims 3

Nintendo announces the Nintendo 3DS titles that will be available on 31 March 2011, when Nintendo 3DS will be available to purchase.

First up is nintendogs + cats, which will be available in three versions: nintendogs + cats Golden Retriever & New Friends, nintendogs + cats French Bulldog & New Friends, nintendogs + cats Toy Poodle & New Friends.

When you see your puppy or kitten in 3D it feels almost as if you could reach out and touch it. There is more variation in the colours and patterns of their fur. Users can interact with their puppy or kitten by patting them, calling them over or just looking into their eyes. There is even an augmented reality component where users can place their puppy or kitten in their hand and take a photo of them with the 3DS Camera.

Also available will be Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. Users can use the Touch Screen to pull off special moves with ease or keep it classic with button controls. The new 3D ‘Versus’ and ‘Figure Collection’ modes give gamers even more ways to play.

Following the launch of Nintendo 3DS, there will be a range of Nintendo 3DS titles available throughout 2011. Pilotwings Resort and Steel Diver are the next two Nintendo 3DS titles due for release with dates still to be confirmed.

Pilotwings Resort allows you to play as your Mii character on Wuhu Island – the main location of Wii Sports Resort as you experience aerial sports in 3D. Steel Diver allows you to control a submarine to fight 3D naval battles, as you expertly control your depth and speed as you move through water, avoiding enemy depth charges.

Coming soon to Nintendo 3DS will be Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Edition, The Sims 3, PES 2011 3D, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, Ridge Racer 3D, Super Monkey Ball 3D, Crush 3D, Thor: God of Thunder, Samurai Warriors: Chronicles and Dead or Alive Dimensions, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell 3D, Rayman 3D, Asphalt 3D, Combat of Giants Dinosaurs 3D, James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes, Driver Renegade, Puzzle Bobble Universe and Rabbids 3D.
