Another job posting on Microsoft’s career website brings additional information on the company’s plans for its products.
This time, the job ad is specifically significant with the development and release of a new Windows Phone update scheduled to come during the holidays. According to the post, Microsoft is presently completing its current release and that they’re targeting the holidays for the “next release”.
Another bit of information still shrouded in mystery is Windows Blue which was also revealed through a job post. Codename blue is an internal effort at Microsoft across a number of products and services that promises further integration and regular updates for improved user experience.
Based on reports, it seems Microsoft will be providing updates to the Windows Phone platform in the coming months leading up to the release of Windows Blue. But for the meantime, as the job posting says, the current release, which is probably the “Apollo Plus” update will be rolled out soon following the Portico update released a few months ago.
