Samsung’s latest offering in the entry-level mobile market is set to be a star – they hope!
Samsung’s Star is the company’s latest handset in the entry-level market. It has a 11.9mm body and a TouchWiz User Interface.
Offering three writing options, the unit has a standard numerical keypad, a virtual QWERTY keyboard or users can hand write your texts using the stylus provided. The Star can convert handwritten messages on screen into text creating a quick and easy way to catch up with friends and family and update them with your news.
Featuring an ‘accelerometer sensor’, users can view the screen on portrait or landscape by tilting the screen and watching the format change to suit their viewing needs. Snappers can also take pictures on a 3.2 Megapixel camera and view them on the 3-inch full-touch screen.
A Photo Contact option means users can touch the picture of the person they want to call and they’ll be connected instantly.
