New Bravia Aimed At Bedroom

A 22-inch television as your second TV? Some would settle for it as their first!

Sony says it latest Bravia is aimed at kitchens and bedrooms, or any other room where a second television would fit. However, as I look at my 21-inch CRT unit in my lounge, I’m thinking a 22-inch Bravia would look a lot better there.

Sony says the Bravia S5700 offers technologies such as BRAVIA Engine 3, Advanced Contrast Enhancer and Intelligent Picture.

Available in four colours of silver, green, pink and brown, the unit also has an illuminated clock display, and a detachable carry handle for portability.

It is DLNA certified enabling access to movies, photos and music stored on other DLNA capable products in your home network, such as a mobile phone or PC, on the TV. To navigate through this Its XrossMediaBar allows navigation through all TV functions, providing a logical and user-friendly to access set up menus, user controls and more.

The S series is Bravia Sync compatible, enabling connectivity to a wide range of Sony home entertainment devices via one remote control. After connection via two HDMI outlets available, users can switch from viewing their home movies on their Handycam camcorder to enjoying photos taken on their Cyber-shot digital camera with the remote function. Additional connectivity is available through a USB 2.0 input.
