New 3DS and New 3DS XL get 2014 release date for Australia

Nintendo yesterday announced that Australia and New Zealand will be the only countries outside of Japan able to purchase the New 3DS in 2014. The new portables will go on sale in Europe and America in 2015.

The New 3DS and the New 3DS XL will launch on November 21, and go on sale for AUD$219.95 and AUD$249.95 respectively. Gamers will be required to purchase an AC Adapter separately for AUD$14.95 or utilise their existing 3DS, 3DS XL 2DS, DSi or DSi XL adapter.
