LG to bring new display technology to LCD with the LG QNED Mini LED TV

LG might be best known for its ultra-premium OLED TVs with industry-leading display technology, but those displays carry a hefty price tag compared to other choices on the market.

The new LG QNED Mini LED TV aims to offer similar quality with a better value proposition.

A redesigned panel structure includes around 30,000 LEDs that serve as the backlight for the TV, producing excellent contrast ratio and nearly 2500 dimming zones for an excellent HDR experience.

All this means the QNED-type display should provide a significantly better image than conventional LCD TVs, along with better HDR implementations for a more realistic, vibrant picture.

Ten new models are coming out this year, including 4K and 8K resolution options, and screen sizes up to 86-inches.
