Kogan Mobile switches on 4G, offers 11GB plan for AUD$49.95

Kogan Mobile, powered by Vodafone's network, today announced that is has switched on 4G connectivity for all customers. When Kogan Mobile relaunched in October last year, subscribers were limited to 3G data speeds.

The budget telco is now also offering a new high-end plan 11XL plan, providing subscribers with 11GB of data per month, and unlimited talk and text. A bonus 1GB of data is included with every 11XL recharge, up until the end of July.

In addition, a bonus 2GB of data is included with AUD$36.95 5XL plan recharges, taking the included total to 7GB (with unlimited talk and text).

Kogan Mobile is also offering the 11XL on its extended 90 day and 365 day terms, priced at AUD$129.95 and AUD$500 respectively. While the year-long option almost saves customers AUD$100, the full AUD$500 sum needs to paid upfront. Kogan Mobile customers taking advantage of an extended recharge will have their data allowance refreshed every 30 days, rather than receiving one big lump sum.
