Huawei Mate 9 – Get ready for the best android phone for 2017

What makes this phone so good?

Where to begin? Let’s start with the superior hardware and software, the 12MP Leica dual lense camera that enables users to capture the highest phone quality pictures, the ‘Press Touch’ feature that recognizes subtler variations in screen pressure, making your phone more interactive and responsive and of course, the thin, slim profile making this ‘phablet’ with a 5.5 inch screen sleek and dare I say even svelte.

Android rocks

Yes it does. From the moment you open the phone, you get access to a virtual smorgasbord of apps and online sites. This is what a mobile phone should be like. Especially notable is the vast array of cloud apps that this phone has access to. For those with a huge amount of photos, songs and videos, this is the feature you are looking for.

Two are always better than one

Australia has some 32 million mobile accounts currently. That means there is about 1.3 mobile phones numbers on average for each and every Australian. This is great news if you have a Huawei Mate 9 as it has a dual micro SIMS. In other words, no more need to have two mobile phones for your two mobile phone accounts – all you need now is one Huawei Mate 9.

Security and ease of use

So some other mobile phone makers laud their brand new fingerprint scanner. To that list you can Huawei, as this Mate 9 has such a good fingerprint scanner that you’ll never need to use the power button. Considering the power button is such a central feature of all today’s mobile phones, this really is a huge deal.

What else has the Huawei Mate 9 got?

Well it has up to 4Gb of RAM, a Kirin 955 processor, 64 Gb of storage and runs on the very latest Android 6 Marshmallow software. In other words, this is a very tough phone that will hold its own with either the Samsung or Apple 7 series. In other words, if you’re sick of the hype from the other phone makers, you will pleasantly surprised with the Huawei Mate 9.

Anything we didn’t like?

Nope. It was light, slim, responsive, easy to use and super functional. We actually loved this phone and would happily give up our other opposition brand to have this phone as our main one. In fact, we don’t even want to give it back to Huawei as it really is a top piece of gear.
