Huawei’s second Windows Phone 8 hasn’t been officially announced yet but it already has posed for the camera today in an official event in China.
The W2 will have a 4.3-inch display and will sport a Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset with a 1.4GHz dual-core Krait processor, Adreno 305 GPU, and at least 512MB of RAM. The phone’s on-board storage is said to be at 8GB with support for microSD card expansion.
There will also be an 8MP camera at the back as well as a 1700mAh battery and a full-size SIM slot. The three soft buttons at the bottom of the device are colour backlit and will match a user’s selected theme colour. There’s even a glove mode that ensures the phone will still be responsive even when wearing gloves.
There’s no information yet on pricing but it appears the device is first heading to China under China Mobile with other markets to follow shortly afterwards.
