Retailers are hoping the Federal Government’s 10.4 billion stimulus package will encourage consumers back into the shops for a Pre-Christmas blow out.

Retail giant Gerry Harvey of Harvey Norman is predicting sales for December will lift by 3-4 percent after the government’s cash injection.
