Game Review: Destiny: The Taken King – One year on

Before I started The Taken King, I hadn't touched Destiny since September last year. While it had some enjoyable moments, it, for the most part, felt like squandered potential. There was a lot of good thing about Destiny, but it was let down by tediously gameplay, a confusing levelling system, and a lack of rewarding post-game progression. 

Destiny's core mechanics worked well, and I enjoy shoot and loot gameplay, but there was just nothing pulling me back in.
